COURSE SUMMARY:

This five-day course starts with an overview of the Maynard Workforce Performance Model, followed by training in the 5-S, Best Methods, Setup Reduction, and Work Flow Design disciplines. The course centers around an interactive workplace simulation to further illustrate the principles of each discipline and provide a �hands-on� improvement experience.

• Understand how the interdependent disciplines in the Maynard Workforce Performance Model impact workforce performance and eliminate waste.
• Understand why 5-S is the foundation and be able to apply it.
• Understand and apply the principles of good methods to any type of work.

• Select and utilize proven strategies for removing impediments and increasing work flow.
